Making natural spaces both refined and functional — in reverence to the house you already have — is the work. Your wish list is translated through technique. A hiding place for the tank, a fountain that catches the eye, a pergola in the right proportion. Meeting your objectives, then giving the dream a plan that can take root.

The design advances with equal integrity at the build
Ideas on paper are plotted and built with precision. We grade, set foundations, and prepare what sits below the surfaces you will live on. A compass-drawn radius becomes a wall of brick and stone. Each plant is set among compatible others. Installation that looks healthy above the ground because it was prepared below it.

Observing the promises of the seasons
When the building work is done, the landscape still has a job: to perform through the year. Well maintained, there is never a need for a down season. Clearing, cleaning, and cutting keep the view of the house’s natural beauty unobstructed. Maintenance can run quarterly, monthly, or weekly in the growing season.

Evening’s selective beauty, revealed by design
Against the black canvas of darkness, shapes and shadows are fashioned. Lighting outlines what there is to explore — a path without glare, height and luster for the tasks that matter, darkness used to mask what should recede. We build safety into the sight lines and give the yard a second life after dusk.

Who leads Field of Dreams?
Marc and his team have designed and built luxury outdoor living for more than 30 years. Marc stays on the material decisions; the same crew stays on the job.
Do you design and build, or only one of those?
Both. Field of Dreams is a design-build studio. You are not coordinating a designer, a pool company, and a landscaper as three separate contracts.
Where do you work?
We serve homeowners across New Castle County, Delaware; Sussex County, Delaware; Cecil County, Maryland; Chester County, Pennsylvania; Delaware County, Pennsylvania. We meet you on the property — there is no public showroom.
How long does a typical project take?
Timelines follow the size, materials, and complexity of the work. During planning we give you a schedule that belongs to your property, not a generic estimate.
